Find

Know who to call
and how you know

For recruiters who have found a hiring company and need the person behind the vacancy. Jenny searches public pages for people linked to the role, shows the source and quote behind each lead and how it relates to the vacancy, and lets you decide what to keep. Verified contact enrichment through Apollo needs setup.

Status in productionEarly accessEarly access. Public, source-cited contacts from AI web search work in production; verified Apollo lookups need setup.

The problem

A contact without a source is a guess

Finding the person behind a vacancy usually means guessing from job titles, then trying e-mail patterns until one does not bounce. That guesswork ends up in the CRM looking exactly like checked data.

Months later nobody remembers whether a phone number came from the company website, a data provider or a colleague’s hunch, while data-protection rules expect you to be able to say where personal data came from.

What changes

  • You start from a saved posting, so the hiring company and the role are already known.
  • Every lead comes with the public page it was found on and a quote from that page.
  • The link to the vacancy is stated plainly: named on the posting, a relevant team lead, a confirmed hiring manager, or unknown.
  • An e-mail address or phone number is kept only when the cited page publishes it word for word.
  • Saved contacts carry their provenance into your CRM, field by field, until someone verifies them.

How it works

  1. 01

    Pick an opportunity

Start from a saved posting or opportunity, where the company and the role are already recorded.

  2. 02

    Research the company

Click to run an AI web search of public pages for people linked to the role. Each search counts towards the workspace’s daily usage limit.

  3. 03

    Check the evidence

Each lead shows its source link, the supporting quote, the date checked and how it relates to the vacancy.

  4. 04

    Save what you trust

Keep a lead with the opportunity and add it as a CRM contact. Someone already in your CRM is recognised, not duplicated.

  5. 05

    Verify before use

Details stay marked “published at the source — not verified” until someone confirms them.

Worked example: Who owns a Financial Controller vacancy?

Illustrative — fictional data
  1. 01 · Open opportunity

You open a saved Financial Controller posting from a logistics company in Antwerp.

  2. 02 · Run the search

You click to research public contacts. The AI web search reads public pages and returns three leads.

  3. 03 · Weigh the leads

Contact A, Head of Finance, is named on the posting page, which publishes an e-mail. Contact B, the CFO on the company website, is a team lead whose hiring role is not confirmed. Contact C’s link to the vacancy is unknown.

  4. 04 · Save one

You save Contact A. The CRM contact keeps the source link, the check date and “published at the source — not verified” on the e-mail field.

  5. 05 · Verified lookup

Needs setup: once an Apollo account is connected, you could request a verified phone number for Contact A and review it before saving.

You provide

  • A saved posting or opportunity: the hiring company and the role
  • Your decision on which leads to keep
  • For verified lookups, once set up: the contact you want checked

Jenny produces

  • Public contact leads with name, title, company, source link, supporting quote and check date
  • A stated relationship to the vacancy for each lead
  • An e-mail address or phone number only when the source publishes it
  • CRM contacts with the source, check date and verification status of each field

Sources and their status

AI web search (public pages)Early accessSearches public pages for people linked to the vacancy. Every lead is cited and reviewed before saving; each search counts towards the workspace’s daily usage limit.
Apollo (company, people and verified lookups)Needs setupConnector in the product, with review before saving and spending limits. Needs an Apollo account, key and credit price; until then Apollo data is a labelled sample.

What it depends on

  • A saved posting or opportunity that names the company and the role
  • AI web search available in your workspace; each search counts towards a daily usage limit
  • For verified lookups: an Apollo account, API key and credit price connected to Jenny

Approval and privacy controls

  • A role such as hiring manager is stated only when a quote from the cited page says so; otherwise the relationship is marked unknown.
  • E-mail addresses and phone numbers are never guessed from patterns. They are kept only when published at the cited source.
  • Lookups run only when you click, and nothing is saved until you choose to save it.
  • Every search counts towards the workspace’s daily limits on AI work and discovery.
  • Once Apollo is set up, verified lookups are reviewed before saving and stay within the workspace’s spending limits.

Current limitations

  • Verified e-mail and phone lookups are not live. The Apollo connector needs an account, key and credit price, and has not yet been verified live.
  • Jenny does not look up contact details for candidates; hiring-contact discovery is for people on the client side.
  • Public pages often name a team lead rather than the person hiring. Jenny labels this, but you still need to confirm who owns the vacancy.
  • Many public pages publish no direct e-mail or phone number, so many leads arrive with a name, title and source only.

Questions about hiring-contact discovery

Does Jenny give me verified e-mail addresses and phone numbers?

Not today. Jenny returns only contact details that a public source publishes, with the link to that source. Verified lookups through Apollo are in the product, with review before saving and spending limits, but they need an Apollo account, key and credit price before they work.

How can I tell where a contact detail came from?

Every lead carries the address of the page it was found on, a quote from that page and the date it was checked. When you add the lead to your CRM, each field keeps that provenance and a “not verified” status.

Why is the relationship sometimes “unknown”?

Jenny only calls someone the hiring manager when a quoted source says so. A head of department listed on a company page is shown as a relevant team lead, with hiring responsibility not confirmed. Anything weaker is marked unknown, so you check before reaching out.

What does a search cost?

Each search is an AI web search, so it counts towards the workspace’s daily usage limit. Apollo lookups, once set up, use Apollo credits at the credit price configured for Jenny, within the workspace’s spending limits.

Can I e-mail a contact I found here?

Jenny records where a contact came from; it does not decide whether you may e-mail them. In Belgium, the Data Protection Authority treats unsolicited e-mails promoting your services as advertising that generally needs prior consent, work addresses included, so check the e-mail marketing rules where the recipient is first. Any e-mail you write in Jenny waits for your approval.
