Saved searches,
one click away
For recruiters who run the same job searches every morning. Save a search once, check it again in one click, and Jenny flags what is new since the last check. Scheduled daily or weekly runs are built into Jenny but switched off in production for now, so a saved search runs when you check it.
The problem
The same searches, every morning, by hand
Business development in recruitment runs on repetition: the same keywords and locations each morning, scrolling past postings you already saw yesterday, and a mental note to look again tomorrow. Skip a few days and a fresh vacancy is already old news by the time you call.
Repetitive work deserves a saved setup — with clear limits, a record of every check, and nothing that pretends to have found more than it did.
What changes
- Save a search once — keywords, location, companies and posting age — and check it again in one click.
- Each run flags what is new since the last check, and postings seen before are not presented as new again.
- Every check is recorded with its result or the reason it failed.
- Results wait in the app, so you review them when it suits you.
- In-app notifications tell you when there is something new or a run needs your attention.

How it works
01
Save a search
Enter keywords, a location and, if you like, up to 20 company names. Choose how recent postings must be.
02
Choose how recent
Postings from the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or any time. A daily or weekly schedule can be set, but scheduled runs are switched off for now.
03
Check it
Each check reads LinkedIn’s public job listings — about 20 postings per check, duplicates removed.
04
Review what is new
New postings are flagged in the app. Save the ones worth pursuing as opportunities.
05
Adjust or pause
Edit, pause, resume or check now at any time. Every run is recorded with its result or the reason it failed.
Worked example: A morning check for logistics roles around Antwerp
Illustrative — fictional data01 · Search saved
You save “transport planner” for the Antwerp area, postings from the last 7 days.
02 · You check
In the morning you click Check now. Jenny reads about 20 public LinkedIn postings, removes duplicates and compares them with the previous check.
03 · New flagged
Three postings are new since the last check; the rest are marked as seen before.
04 · You decide
You save one posting from a logistics company in Antwerp as an opportunity and pause the search for the holiday week.
05 · Goal (in development)
You type “up to 20 relevant jobs a day for my logistics candidates”. Jenny shows what it understood and saves the goal switched off; it runs only after you enable it. On a quiet day it may return three jobs, and it never adds filler to reach 20.
You provide
- Keywords and a location per saved search, optionally a list of companies
- Posting age: last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or any time
- Approved campaigns and their messages
- Candidate searches you start in the Sourcing Lab
Jenny produces
- A result list per saved search, with new postings flagged and earlier ones marked as seen
- In-app notifications for new results and for runs that need attention
- Campaign messages recorded as simulated — sending isn’t switched on yet
- Finished candidate searches, ready for your review
Sources and their status
| LinkedIn public job search | Available | Saved searches check live public job listings; no sample jobs are substituted when a check fails. |
|---|---|---|
| LinkedIn Recruiter (via Unipile) | Early access | Background candidate searches can use a seat connected in Unipile — today Forti8’s own, within an allowance. Saved searches and recurring goals never use it. |
| E-mail provider for scheduled sends | Needs setup | Sending, including scheduled sends, isn’t switched on in production yet; real delivery will also need a provider with a verified sending domain. Until then each send is recorded as simulated. |
| Your own candidates (recurring goals) | In development | Recurring candidate goals will search your workspace’s own candidates only. |
What it depends on
- LinkedIn’s public job listings, read without an account; when LinkedIn limits requests, the check is recorded and you can check again later.
- Daily usage limits per workspace on AI work, discovery and LinkedIn searches; a client trial works within its own budget.
- Sending switched on, and an e-mail provider with a verified sending domain, before campaign sends are really delivered.
- For background candidate searches on LinkedIn: a LinkedIn Recruiter seat connected in Unipile — today Forti8’s own, within an allowance.
Approval and privacy controls
- Every saved search can be paused, resumed, edited or deleted, and each run is logged with its outcome.
- Daily usage limits per workspace cap AI work and search volume, so checks cannot run up costs unnoticed.
- Campaign sends follow the same approval, stop switch, suppression list and daily limit as any message.
- When LinkedIn limits requests, the remaining checks wait for a later run instead of retrying straight away.
Current limitations
- Recurring searches cover jobs only today. Recurring goals, including candidate goals, are in development.
- Up to 25 saved searches per workspace, and about 20 postings per check.
- Scheduled daily or weekly runs are switched off in production for now; a saved search runs when you check it.
- Notifications appear in the app only; there is no e-mail digest.
- Sending, including scheduled sends, isn’t switched on yet; sends are recorded as simulated.
Questions about recurring searches & automation
Do saved searches run when my laptop is closed?
Not yet. Scheduled runs are built into Jenny but switched off in production for now, so a saved search runs when you check it. Each check flags what is new since the previous one.
Which sites does a saved search check, and what if a check fails?
LinkedIn’s public job listings; other job sites are not checked. If a check fails or LinkedIn limits requests, the check is recorded with the reason, no sample jobs are shown in its place, and you can check again once the problem is solved.
Can Jenny find up to 20 candidates for my open roles every day?
Not yet. Recurring goals are in development. You would write the goal in plain words — “up to 20 candidates for this role” or “up to 20 relevant jobs a day for my logistics candidates” — review what Jenny understood, and switch it on yourself; nothing runs before you do. Candidate goals will search your workspace’s own candidates only, not LinkedIn Recruiter. No release date has been set.
Why would a run return fewer than 20 results?
Because a limit is a ceiling, not a promise. “Up to 20” caps how much you have to read from one run; it does not mean twenty good results exist. On a quiet day the honest answer may be three, or none. Saved searches show only what a check actually found, and recurring goals are being built never to pad the list with near-misses.
Can a search run on a schedule, or on weekdays only?
Not today: scheduled runs are switched off for now, so a saved search runs when you check it. When scheduling is switched on, a saved search runs daily or weekly at the hour and time zone you choose, without a weekdays-only option.
